Dritz See-Thru Ruler 2" x 18"

I have owned this ruler for so long, the markings are rubbing away. Yet it is still the ruler I reach for most often, whether I'm sewing or doing some other task. Its transparency lets you see your project underneath the ruler for accurate positioning and marking. The large numbers are quick and easy to read. It has just the right amount of detailed markings without being visually overwhelming.

Use it for drawing parallel or perpendicular lines, adding seam allowances, enlarging patterns, drawing circles and scallops, and more.

Why a ruler instead of a measuring tape? A flexible measuring tape is great for body measurements and curves, but a rigid ruler enables you to take accurate measurements when working with hems, seam allowances, and button placements. It also allows you to make straight lines with precision, which is useful for pattern tracing and alterations.

Made of thin, flexible plastic.

The ruler is designed with multiple markings for measuring:

• 1/16″ outer edge marks
• 1/8″ grid with inch marks
• 18″ ruler 
• 1/2″ spaced holes for centering
