While I love a natural, cotton thread, you sometimes need a more durable thread when making items that will get washed frequently or a lot of wear and tear. Made of 100% fine polyester, Gutermann Sew-All Poly thread is both durable and versatile with a lustrous finish. It is suitable for both hand- and machine-sewing.
Note: Polyester will not readily take dye colors. If you are planning to use dye, opt for a natural thread like cotton or wool.
